City View Bicycle Tour       

Our signature tour allows you to pedal from the Italian North End and historic Beacon Hill, up to Fenway park, heart of Red Sox Nation, and through modern and dynamic Back Bay. Riders will see parts of Boston off the beaten path and experience the diversity of Boston’s contemporary and classic neighborhoods.

Emerald Necklace and Fall Foliage Tour

Discover Frederick Law Olmsted’s famous system of parks on this bicycle tour of the historic Emerald Necklace. From the shaded boulevard on Commonwealth Avenue to the popular shores of Jamaica Pond to the winding paths of the Arnold Arboretum, this chain of gardens, reserves, and open space serves as an oasis in the middle of a bustling city. TOUR DE BOSTON: Charles River to Boston Harbor

This leisurely ride takes you to some of Boston’s wonderful waterways, following the beautiful and historic Charles River on both the Boston and Cambridge sides as you make your way towards Boston Harbor. Funway to Fenway               

Take an evening ride with us to Fenway Park, the most beloved baseball stadium in the world. We will tour the historic area around Yawkey Way, hear the beat of the heart of Red Sox nation, and experience the pregame thrill. Ride back to the shop with your tour guide, or if you want to stick around add on pickup from theBioBus and we’ll come grab your bikes for you while you watch the game and soak up the nightlife on Landsdowne St.

Paul Revere Ride to Freedom

Heading out on Columbus Day, Monday, October 12th, the Urban AdvenTours Paul Revere Ride to Freedom follows the path of Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride. On this special edition tour, bicycles replace horses as you ride back in time and recount the opening days of the American Revolution hour by hour over a 25 mile route. There’s no better way to experience Boston’s famous past than the up-close perspective of a bicycle.

Bike Shop

Our operations on Atlantic Ave. in the Mercantile Wharf Building in the North End is convenient for folks in Beacon Hill, Charlestown, South Boston, East Boston, Chinatown and of course the North End. We enjoy meeting neighbors from all over the city and helping as many people as possible find the gear that’s right for their needs and keep them on the road with our loaner bike program.

We are happy to get your ride tuned up and running smoothly. Our mechanics are always friendly and happy to explain what your bike needs and how they’ll fix it.

We can provide full maintenance on your bike and we also stock a variety of parts and accessories. Lights, locks, bells and all your other commuter needs can be met by our shop. We hope you come check it out soon.

Our new location features city, commuter, and cruiser bikes by companies such as KONA, GIANT, SURLY, ALL-CITY, and MASI. Our knowledgeable sales staff can help you find the right bike for your riding preferences.

Come down to our NEW SHOWROOM at 109 Atlantic Ave., meet the staff and check out the amazing selection of parts and accessories. We’re located right near the Aquarium, Government Center and State T stops. We are right across the street from Faneuil Hall and Christopher Columbus Park.

Rentals

We have bikes for rent which includes a lock, helmet, and Boston bike map! Urban AdvenTours provides every rider with a well maintained, comfortable and safe bicycle, fitted to each rider’s specifications. The same quality bikes that riders use for our daily tours are available for bike rental. Road and tandem bikes are also available. We have kid seats, tag-a-longs, and Burley trailers for the young urban rider.

Hybrid Bike Rentals > Book Now
Giant Escapes, Kona Smokes and Specialized Globes are our great hybrid city bikes for daily tours and rentals.
Weekdays: $35 for the first day, and $25 for each additional day
Weekends & Holidays: $35/day

Road Bike Rentals > Book Now
Urban AdvenTours is proud to offer high-end road bikes. We currently carry Specialized Allez’s, Kona Zing’s, and Giant Defy 1’s. We also have the Giant Avail made specifically with women riders in mind. Looking for something a little more rugged to handle the city streets? Well, you’re in luck, we also have the Kona Jake designed to handle both on and off road conditions. Advanced reservations are recommended for road bike rentals.

Fixed Gear Bike Rentals
